Here are some of the projects we were involved in:
During the height of the pandemic, we successfully negotiated contracts worth over £100m with potential personal protective equipment (PPE) suppliers worldwide. Our team rigorously assessed suppliers' ability to deliver the required PPE, working closely with clinical assessors to evaluate the suitability of the equipment. More importantly, we conducted thorough vetting and due diligence to verify the authenticity of supplier offers. As a result, we successfully presented legitimate deals to the Review Panel, ensuring a continuous supply of highly demanded PPE to healthcare organisations.
We successfully managed the procurement and project management of Group 2-4 equipment in accordance with RIBA stages for a major £0.5bn reconfiguration of public healthcare services in Dorset. Our comprehensive capital equipment strategy service encompassed every stage of the process, from scoping requirements in collaboration with designers, architects, and clinical and non-clinical leads, to assessing the existing equipment baseline and its impact on new purchases. We ensured the completion of compliant procurement processes, effectively managing suppliers and deliveries to align with both the builder's and customer's expectations. As a result, we successfully delivered two new-build facilities, facilitating the merger of services, alongside a range of smaller reconfigurations and refurbishments.
We have supported a wide range of clinical specialities with their procurement needs, including Emergency Departments, Radiology, Endoscopy, Surgical Theatres, Critical Care, Maternity, and Children's services, to name a few. Our commitment to delivering the highest quality service—while operating within organisational and national constraints—has consistently resulted in the timely and cost-effective delivery of procurement projects. In many cases, we have also generated significant savings and operational efficiencies. A recent example of our work includes the procurement of CT scanners, where we successfully consolidated requirements from multiple projects. This approach allowed us to leverage a single procurement exercise to deliver standardised equipment with fully mapped and integrated service agreements, achieving savings of £150k by reducing repetitive procurement processes and capitalising on economies of scale.
Our company provides corporate procurement services across a wide range of categories, including IT, Estates, and other essential business functions. We offer end-to-end procurement solutions, from supplier selection and contract negotiation to project management and implementation. A recent example of our expertise includes the procurement and meticulous project management of catering equipment, alongside strategic support in transitioning the catering model from freshly made meals to cook-freeze and cook-chill methods. This transformation not only improved operational efficiency but also created new income-generating opportunities.
Our company specialises in supporting and developing robust policies, procedures, and strategies for procurement and project delivery. We work closely with organisations to design frameworks that ensure compliance, efficiency, and value for money. By leveraging industry best practices and our extensive expertise, we help streamline procurement processes, enhance risk management, and improve overall project outcomes. Whether you need to establish new procurement policies, refine existing procedures, or develop a strategic approach to project delivery, our tailored solutions are designed to align with your organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
We are committed to staying up to date with the latest policies and best practices, while also actively contributing to research, innovation and training. Dr Twardowski recently completed his thesis on urgent procurement integration, highlighting key differences between private and public procurement in the UK. As part of this research, he developed a decision support system tool to address some of the challenges within the public healthcare procurement process. In addition, we have conducted research on staff welfare and the cultural impact on change adoption, providing valuable insights to help organisations implement cultural transformations that enhance staff well-being and overall organisational performance.
